I’ll be reading with Doireann Ní Ghríofa in the Farmgate Cafe in Cork on June 11 2016 @6pm. The event will be moderated by Doireann Ní Bhriain. The reading is part of the Women of the South: Radicals and Revolutionaries series. Meas mór is due to Rebecca and Kay Harte of the Farmgate, Professor Linda Connolly and the rest of the team for curating the series of talks and the wonderful exhibition upstairs in the English Market.

The event is free, you just have to register here.

New Anthology: Poètes de Munster 1960-2015

poesie

I was delighted to have been included in a new anothology of poets from Munster that was recently published by Éditions Illador, edited by Clíona Ní Ríordáin and Paul Bensimon. It is a beautifully designed book with translations from English and Irish to French. Félicitations!

Here is an article in The Irish Examiner about the book:

Lunch and Launch
Some of the poets gathered at the gorgeous Farmgate restaurant for lunch before the launch at Cork City Library.

I’m particularly grateful to Clíona for including my work in another anothology she edited recently, Femmes d’Irlande en Poésie, 1973-2013 (Éditions Caractères, 2013).
