When I finished the manuscript of Tost agus Allagar over a year ago, I tried to keep up the momentum of writing and editing poems… I failed miserably. Weeks and months would pass without any stirring; I felt listless and missed the buzz of creating. And then a subject pops up and that sparks something: Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan honeymooned in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Here is a poem I wrote imagining their time there.
Mo bhuíochas le heagarthóirí Comhar as é a fhoilsiú in eagrán mhí Iúil.
